Enhanced Lubrastrip: The lubrication strip on these blades is upgraded from the standard Fusion line. It contains more lubricants and a touch of mineral oil, which creates a gel-like layer to help the razor glide over the skin, enhancing comfort and protecting against irritation. The strip fades from green to white as an indicator that a blade change is needed.

Precision Trimmer: A single-blade trimmer is located on the back of the cartridge. This is a very useful feature for precise styling, such as shaping sideburns or facial hair, and for reaching difficult areas like under the nose.

MicroComb and Blade Stabilizer: The ProGlide cartridge includes a "MicroComb" that helps guide hairs into the blades, making the shave more efficient. A "Blade Stabilizer" is also integrated to maintain optimal blade spacing, which is meant to enhance comfort.
